Advertising/PR Update: Radio ads on KLZR/KLWN will begin running on Wed Sep 6. This will be a 30 second spot that will run 40 times on KLZR and 40 times on KLWN. In addition, a print ad will appear in the Hawk Sheet.
Newspaper ad begins running on Fri Sep 8 and will run every other day until Sep 14.
Youth flyers went out to all the Sunday school classes this past Sunday at both locations highlighting all the youth events particularly the Saturday Fall Festival and concert.
KLZR/KLWN will be doing a live remote from West Campus on KU Game Night.
Ribbon cutting ceremony with the Chamber of Commerce will not take place as we had hoped during the Community Open House due to another ceremony scheduled for that day.
Email will go to all church members that normally receive church emails about the Fun Run. Tom’s Tidbits will also highlight events during grand opening. And the phone tree will be used to call church members about the Sunday events particularly the Consecration Service and the All Church Picnic.
Email invitations will go out to community groups Tue Sep 12 regarding the Community Open House.
Bennett has located a contact for the movie theater ad that has been running the last few months. We hope to update the design of the ad to incorporate our new logo and branding design. The current contract runs through February 2007.
The Future: With Grand
Opening next week, our work on that is pretty much done. Bennett anticipates
that we’ll begin meeting on a 2-3 week rotation for the rest of the year to
finalize our work outlined early in our meetings.
